Public speaking is one of the most efficacious skills that one can have. Only 5% of adults in the United States are ready and willing to take the platform and present to a group of people. Those who do have this skill are a step ahead of the rest, in that they are able to present themselves and their ideas in the academic, business, or political world in a persuasive manner. Public speaking was one my greatest fears as I entered my teen years. In a period of two years, I went from being terrified of the platform to winning the national championship and presenting to a crowd of over 2000 people. Public speaking, my greatest fear, became my passion. I am currently married to the most beautiful woman in the world who shares in my love for public speaking.
